NOTIFICATION: Handling Industrial Property Applications<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n

 <\/p>\n

To strengthen the capacity of the information technology system to serve the processing industrial property registration applications and related applications, with the support of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the National Office of Intellectual Property (NOIP) has implemented the Project of Upgrading the industrial property application administration system and the Project has been completed by the end of 2022. Since then, the NOIP has been transforming the application management system to the new system.<\/p>\n

In addition, document forms for handling industrial property applications need to be reviewed and updated to be consistent with the Law on amended and supplemented some articles of Intellectual Property Law approved in 2022 (effective as from January 01, 2023). This is the reason why the processing of application for registration of industrial property rights and other related applications has been delayed recently.<\/p>\n

The NOIP has been speeding up the transformation of the System, as well as reviewing the document forms serving the processing of applications so that the processing of industrial property applications can be restored as usual as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

The NOIP would like to inform about the delay in processing industrial property applications in the past time and do hope to receive the sympathy of the Applicants and related Organizations and Individuals.<\/p>\n
