Journalists Club announced the results of a poll of 10 outstanding Science and Technology events in 2022. In which the second outstanding event was the passage of the Law on amendment and supplementation of some articles of Law on Intellectual Property.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6977\" src=\"https:\/\/lawfirmelite.com\/vi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/le-cong-bo.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vice President of the Academy of Science and Technology Chu Hoang Ha and Chairman of the Science and Technology Journalist Club Ha Hong awarded certificates of 10 outstanding science and technology events in 2022 to representatives of agencies, units, organizations and individuals &#8211; Photo: VGP\/ Hoang Giang<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Voted fields include: Policy mechanism; social science; natural sciences; applied research; honor scientists, international integration.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is the 17th year this activity has been organized by the Vietnam Science and Technology Journalists Club with the participation of more than 40 reporters specializing in the science and technology field of central and local press agencies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 10 most prominent Vietnamese science and technology events voted by reporters with the highest scores include:<\/span><\/p>\n<h1><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"First-issued-the-Strategy-for-Science-Technology-and-Innovation-Development-to-2030\"><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><b><i>First, issued the Strategy for Science, Technology and Innovation Development to 2030<\/i><\/b><\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On May 11, 2022, the Prime Minister issued the Strategy for Science, Technology and Innovation Development to 2030. This strategy has special significance not only for the science and technology industry but also for the entire political system because the role of science, technology and innovation in the next 10 years is a strategic breakthrough, which is decisive to create a breakthrough to improve productivity, quality, efficiency and competitiveness of the economy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The contents of the Strategy are built on a scientific basis, have a practical basis and are in sync with relevant contents in the documents of the Party and State, especially the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of Party, the 10-year socio-economic development strategy 2021-2030.<\/span><\/p>\n<h1><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Second-passed-the-Law-on-amendment-and-supplementation-of-some-articles-of-Law-on-Intellectual-Property\"><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><b><i>Second, passed the Law on amendment and supplementation of some articles of Law on Intellectual Property<\/i><\/b><\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the meeting on June 16, 2022, the third session of the XV National Assembly approved the Law on amendment and supplementation of some articles of Law on Intellectual Property, officially taking effect from January 1, 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Law on amendment and supplementation of some articles of Law on Intellectual Property is a difficult law project with in-depth specialized content, requiring knowledge related to the field of intellectual property, practical application and understanding on international commitments related to intellectual property; ensure that after issue, bring the Law closer to international practices, meet practical requirements, and meet requirements of ensuring rights and interests of the people and enterprises.<\/span><\/p>\n<h1><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Third-pilot-implementation-of-the-local-innovation-index\"><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><b><i>Third, pilot implementation of the local innovation index<\/i><\/b><\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The pilot implementation of the local innovation index (PII) is the mission assigned by the Government to the Ministry of Science and Technology. 2022 is the first year that the Ministry of Science and Technology has implemented and piloted 20 localities, from which to learn from and perfect the methods and methods of implementation and assessment of the impact of the index on localities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The PII index frame includes 51 indicators, of which 15 will take data from localities; 36 indexes take data from ministries, sectors and other organizations at the central. The Departments of Science and Technology are the focal point for collecting and synthesizing local data. The PII index provided by the locality includes institutional indicators; education; the infrastructure; credit; joint innovation; science and technology enterprises, innovative start-ups; knowledge, innovation and technology products; impact of innovation on socio-economic development.<\/span><\/p>\n<h1><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Fourth-National-Workshop-%E2%80%9CNational-value-system-cultural-value-system-family-value-system-and-Vietnamese-human-standards-in-the-new-period%E2%80%9D\"><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><b><i>Fourth, National Workshop &#8220;National value system, cultural value system, family value system and Vietnamese human standards in the new period&#8221;<\/i><\/b><\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> On November 29, in Hanoi, the Central Committee\u2019s Publicity and Education Commission, in collaboration with the Central Council of Theoretical Studies, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, organized the National Workshop &#8220;National value system, cultural value system, family value system and Vietnamese human standards in the new period&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The workshop aimed to concretize the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of Party and the direction of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong at the National Cultural Conference in 2021, in association with the implementation of the mission of cultural construction and development, Vietnamese people meet the requirements of sustainable development of the country.<\/span><\/p>\n<h1><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Fifth-master-the-gene-editing-technology-CRISPRcas9\"><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><b><i>Fifth, master the gene editing technology CRISPR\/cas9<\/i><\/b><\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h1>\n<p><b><i> <\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One of the most harmful diseases on papaya is being solved by scientists at the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology with gene editing technology through the CRISPR\/Cas9 system.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Plant Cell Technology Research Group at the Institute of Biotechnology under the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology said that it has conducted the first research on editing the PRSV-resistant eIF4E gene on papaya using CRISPR\/Cas9 technology. The preliminary results of papaya gene editing have just been published in the Plant Cell Tissue and Organ Cultures Magazine (Spring Nature Publishing House). Previously, to test the effectiveness of the gene editing system, the group worked on editing the eIF4E gene in a tobacco model plant to assess resistance to PYV virus. The research was also published in the Scientific Reports Magazine (under Nature Publishing House) in August 2022. Currently, the group continues to develop CRISPR\/Cas9 technology to improve the resistance to powdery mildew disease in soybean and cucumber; enhance salt tolerance or nutritional deficiencies of rice; and improve the nutritional value of tomatoes&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<h1><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Sixth-successfully-researching-and-manufacturing-clean-rooms-of-the-highest-level-in-the-world\"><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><b><i>Sixth, successfully researching and manufacturing clean rooms of the highest level in the world<\/i><\/b><\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> INTECH Group successfully researched and manufactured clean rooms of the highest level in the world according to US NEBB standards. According to the plan, it will bring to market 7 more different chip lines in 2023, serving a wide range of fields of technology, telecommunications, IoT, lighting equipment, smart devices, automotive technology, energy, electronics and refrigeration.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This chip line is designed by FPT Semiconductor to produce wafers &#8211; the base material for the production of microchips, aimed at serving specific industries and products.
