The City Market Management Department of Hanoi has destroyed a batch of infringing goods worth nearly 2 billion Vietnamese Dong. The goods include 42 packs of cigarettes, 6,000 pieces of baby diapers, used mobile phones, and covert surveillance devices<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

On September 14, the City Market Management Department of Hanoi coordinated with relevant authorities to destroy all kinds of infringing goods.<\/span><\/p>\n

Accordingly, the destroyed goods this time include: 42 packs of cigarettes, 6,000 pieces of baby diapers (approximately 50 kilograms), used mobile phones including 379 iPhone 8 plus, 243 iPhone XSmax and various covert surveillance devices (approximately 2 kilograms). The total volume of destroyed goods was estimated to be nearly 200 kilograms, with a total value of nearly 2 billion Vietnamese Dong.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is the 4th time since the beginning of 2023 until now, the City Market Management Department of Hanoi has destroyed infringing goods that were not eligible for use.<\/span><\/p>\n

Destruction method: For groups of goods such as cigarettes and baby diapers, they are put into the incinerator for total destruction, under the supervision of the Destruction Supervision Council and representatives of the authorities.<\/span><\/p>\n

The group of goods such as the iPhone and various covert surveillance devices, headphones, and cameras, were crushed by a bulldozer and then submerged in a container filled with chemical substances, under the supervision of the Association\u2019s representative co-destruction supervisors and representatives of the authorities.<\/span><\/p>\n

The destruction of infringing goods must ensure the safety of individuals and vehicles involved in the destruction and ensure environmental hygiene.<\/span><\/p>\n
