ELITE: According to regulations, the owner of an industrial design has the right to request the National Office of Intellectual Property to record changes in information on the industrial design in the following cases:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Change of name, address, of the owner of an industrial design patent;<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Change the nationality of the author of the industrial design<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Change the owner of an industrial design patent.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    What documents\/papers are needed to amend an industrial design application?<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

    ELITE:\u00a0<\/strong>According to regulations, the dossier for reissuance of an industrial design registration certificate requires the following documents:<\/span><\/p>\n

    1. Original Power of Attorney (under our form);<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Part or all of the description or summary of the invention;<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. In case of changing the applicant\u2019s name, address, and country code. The applicant must submit confirmation documents (original or certified copy) or legal documents (certified copy) proving the change (decision to change name, address; registration certificate showing the change of name, address, etc.);<\/span><\/li>\n
    4. In case of change of IP Representative Agent, the applicant must submit a Declaration of change of an IP Representative.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
